Integrating LIBS elemental analyzer into technological processes
ECLIPSE — is an analyzer designed for high-precision and rapid determination of the elemental composition of various materials.
It is based on the method of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).
Unlike traditional methods, LIBS does not require complex sample preparation: a laser instantly evaporates a microparticle of the sample, creating a plasma, the analysis of which provides data on the composition.
Advantages stand-off ECLIPSE:
- Integrated specifically into your technological process
- No sample preparation (or minimal). Less need for “wet” chemistry reduces the cost of laboratory analysis. High speed of analysis (seconds).
- Accuracy of determining the concentration of elements down to fractions of a percent
- Low limits of detection of elements
- Compactness and the possibility of operation in “contaminated” environment
- Reducing costs, minimizing defects and accelerating processes provide a quick return on investment (ROI)
We offer methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis for various bases/matrices:
- Steel
- Aluminum
- Copper
- Nickel
- Salts
- Other elements on request
Eclipse works with various forms and states of matte
- Pulp
- Concentrate
- Foam

Lab ECLIPSE for research laboratories:
- Development of methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis
- At the heart of the system is any — laser manufactured by SLS Prime Technology
- Development of focusing and radiation collection systems to suit your needs
- 3D profiling on request
- Possibility of integration with other analytical methods
Example of adaptation for the aluminum industry:
SLS Prime Technology has developed methods for quantitative elemental analysis in aluminum alloys in accordance with GOST 3221 and GOST 7727. ECLIPSE dAl (laboratory version) and ECLIPSE mAl (stand-off version) provide rapid and accurate analysis of the chemical composition of aluminum, allowing control of metal purity, impurity levels and compliance with technological requirements at all stages of production — from raw material processing to finished product output.
